- WHAT'S HAPPENING
Kay has received a sabbatical from her teaching position and a mid-
career fellowship from Princeton University for the 2007-2008
academic year.
She will be doing course work in digital imaging and will
incorporate what she learns into some of her fine art work.
She will also be conducting research and writing a paper on the
viability of the MFA degree as it applies to promotion and tenure
of visual arts professors that teach at community colleges
Kay is presently illustrating a children book Everyone Loves
Elwood! A True Story by Karen Quigley with Loren Spiotta-DiMare
that is being published in Summer, 2007. Elwood was a contestant
and finisher in the Worlds Ugliest Dog Contest and was featured on
Animal Planet and was a guest on numerous talk shows and appeared
in many newspaper publications.
